On Saturday, September 1st, 2001     Kim Russell and Joey DeSimone were married at The Point, on Lake Norman in North Carolina. The festivities began on Friday afternoon with a Carolina Bar-B-Q at their house. That eveneing Joey's parents hosted a wonderful Calypso rehersal party dinner at a country club on the water front at Lake Norman. The outdoor wedding service was performed at the base of the monument, in the center of a rose garden at The Point.
